James Hare Fabrics

Natural/Dusky Rose Kasuri Fabric

Kasuri Fabric Natural/Dusky Rose 31648/03 by James Hare takes its name from the Japanese word, which describes an ikat weave where the warp is printed to give distinctive blurred edges, visible on the designs spots. A smart, small-scale motif lends itself to being a very effective standalone addition to any room or as the perfect companion to the rest of the collection. A linen, viscose and polyester mix fabric.

Inspired by the diaries of female Victorian travellers, who criss-crossed the world in a corset! They recorded their adventures through painting, drawing and photography incorporating the colours and textures of plants, patterns and vistas from destinations including Siam, Ceylon and Java. At the same time in England in 1865, James Hare was founding his textile company.

A natural colour palette of sophisticated shades with a distinctive handle. The fabric is ideal for fashion, drapery, curtains, upholstery, blinds, lampshades, cushions, wallcoverings and other decorative detailing.

Voyager and Persia collections coordinate beautifully with this stunning silk fabric.
