Portobello Faux Silk Collection was one of three, launched in celebration of James Hare’s 150 years; specialising in the manufacture, design and distribution, of the finest fabrics for fashion and interior markets, across the world.
Named after London's fashionable Portobello Road which celebrated 150 years of trading in 2015 just like James Hare. The collection draws on the colourful history and heritage of the city's vibrant Notting Hill district for this decorative collection; home to one of the capital's oldest and most notable street markets, known for its eclectic mix of antiques and fashion. Ideal for upholstery and soft furnishings.
Portobello Flower Fabric is a cotton linen mix fabric; an intricate embroidered flower design on a natural linen base gives exceptional drape. Hand-cut brightly coloured velvet buds, create texture and depth which is almost three dimensional and featuring a subtle graduation of colour. Suitable for drapery.
Westbourne Damask Silk Fabric is a spectacular pure silk embroidered and corded damask. Its striking bright and bold colours enhance the raised effect.
